1. Program Name:
"Subaru PGT Championship Cup" Contingency Program
   
2. Program Summary:
Subaru is an Official Contingency Sponsor of the 2008 Rally America National Championship
This is an optional contingency awards program: Signing up once automatically enters your driver's name and car number for the entire season.

3. Program Duration:
All 2008 and 2009 Rally America National Championship events
   
4. Registration Requirements:
Registration is REQUIRED for this Subaru Rally Contingency Program prior to applicable event day(s).
You will remain on this program for the remainder of the calendar year unless you specify otherwise. Please re-register for the 2009 season.
Late registrations, at the event will not be accepted. Registration must be completed prior to the event.

5. Decal Requirements:
Decals, supplied by Subaru, must be placed on the race vehicle in a neat manner
Failure to register and install required decals prior to the start of Parc Expose (Day 1) of an event will forfeit eligibility for an award

6. Vehicle Eligibility
The 2008 and 2009 vehicle eligibility guidelines differ, please carefully read below.
2008 calendar year Vehicle Eligibility:
Eligible Subaru vehicles are grouped into two categories:
  1. Plan “A”: 2002-2008 Model Year Impreza vehicles (including all Impreza model types such as Impreza WRX, Impreza 2.5rs etc..), and 2000 Model Year or newer Legacy models.
  2. Plan “B”: All 2001 and older Impreza models and 1995-1999 Model Year Legacy models
2009 calendar year Vehicle Eligibility:
Eligible Subaru vehicles are grouped into two categories:
  1. Plan “A”: 2008 and newer Model Year Impreza vehicles (including all Impreza model types such as Impreza WRX, Impreza 2.5i, 4-door or 5-door models)
  2. Plan “B”: All 2007 and older Impreza models and 2000 Model Year or newer Legacy models
   
7. Class and Driver Eligibility
This program is for the  Rally America National Championship Production GT Class only*
“Dual-entered” (Regional + National entry) drivers are not eligible; this program is for PGT drivers entered in ONLY the NATIONAL portion of a Rally America National Championship Event.*
   
8. Award Information:
Finish position of a registered competitor is based on their finish position relative ONLY to other registered and eligible PGT class Subaru participants in this program. Un-registered PGT drivers are not factored.
Any penalties, disqualifications or class changes incurred by Rally America officials on any registered Subaru PGT Championship Cup competitor will be mirrored or applied to finish classifications at the discretion of Subaru.
FINISH AWARDS: Per event award payouts are for the 1st - 10th placed PGT drivers in eligible Subaru vehicles for each event.  Each position award will be either Plan A or Plan B, (based on vehicle eligibility described in section 6) and paid out according to their respective schedules listed below.  (see “PAYOUT SCHEDULES”)
DNF AWARDS:  If a Plan A registered competitor officially starts, but fails to finish an event he/she will be eligible for a $500 award.
  1. The DNF Award is not available to Plan B competitors
  2. A DNF Award is only available if there are LESS THAN 10 registered Subaru competitors that FINISH the event. If 10 or more registered Subaru competitors finish the event, then NO DNF AWARDS will be available.
  3. A maximum of 10 awards (Finishers and Non-Finishers combined) in total will be available at each event. If the combined total FINISHERS and NON-FINISHERS is greater than 10, then those who do not finish will be classified based on the following criteria in order to determine the top 10 classification:
    1. Total number of stages the competitor has completed. For example: a competitor who completes 8 stages will receive a classification position in front of a competitor who completes 7 stages. However, Non-finishing competitors will never be placed in front of a finishing competitor. And a non-finishing competitor can only receive $500, regardless of classification within the top 10.
    2. If more than one eligible competitor fails to finish the same stage, they will be ordered based on their cumulative completed stage time through the previous stage, including any applicable penalties or road points.
Subaru will make every effort to provide event awards at the conclusion of each event weekend, at either the awards ceremony or in person by a representative of Subaru. Awards will be in the form of a check to the registered driver. Awards will be withheld if event results are not confirmed by Rally America, or a protest or inquiry is present.
If recipients do not receive his/her award at the conclusion of an event, a check in the appropriate amount will be mailed to address on record.
At the conclusion of 2008 Rally America National Championship season, the highest-placed 2008 Subaru Championship Cup season points finisher, based solely on Rally America National Championship PGT season standings, will be eligible for a one-time test session in an SRT USA open class car.‡
