LO: We put on snow tires for the last
set of stages and it was a real learning process.
I have never driven in the snow on true snow tires.
We spun on the very first corner of the first
stage that we used the snow tires but I soon began
to get a feel for them, they were great, really
amazing.
LO: We were really flying on the last
stage and I had a huge spin at over 80 mph,
we just spun around and around and I tore off
the front bumper, no real harm done though,
we just kept going and we only lost that stage
by I think 4 seconds.
LO: We set out to get a top 5, and considering
all the little things that kept taking time
away from us we are happy to finish 4th. I think
the Mitsubishi team garnered a bit of respect
from the Subaru guys and Canadians who all have
so much experience in the snow, I mean David
just was so fast at the end of Day 1 and I really
started to move at end of day 2.
